Each year, local yarn shops in the Bay Area put together a super fun weekend, the “Peninsula to Pier Shop Hop.” Twelve yarn shops, from Monterey to San Mateo, are participating next Friday through Sunday. What’s the whole deal? You get to go visit shops across the Central Coast/Bay Area, get your shop hop passport stamped at each shop, and if you visit all shops, get entered into drawing for a shopping spree (two prizes!)!
Also, each shop’s offering a free and exclusive one-skein project pattern and the yarn purchased with the pattern will be 10% off!
Also, shops will hold daily raffles (and this is where I come in)! Three of the participating shops will include Phydeaux Designs goodies in their raffled goody bags! Each raffle bag will include two Phydeaux knitting patterns and one pair of Phydeaux handcrafted buttons. You can see the other participating sponsors right here.
I’m pretty excited! I usually make it to two or three of my own favorite LYS during the shop hop. I wish I had time to visit at 12 this year!
Wondering if your own favorite Bay Area yarn shop is participating? Here’s the list of shops participating in the hop!
If you do visit any of the participating shops and you’d like to see Phydeaux Designs regularly offered in that shop, please let them know!
And perhaps I’ll see YOU at the Bobbin’s Nest Studio, Green Planet Yarn or Yarndogs (all fabulous and all frequented by yours truly) next weekend – I’m pretty sure I’ll be stopping by each during the hop!
